Heartless Assassin, Act I and Act II

Mireille and Kirika head to the east where another purple haired assassin - the best, is waiting to kill Noir. Judging by her special skills she stands a very good chance.

Mireille and Kirika meet their contact in a large shrine, but he has been followed and a huge battle breaks out. This episode battles are less planned and more desperate. Kirika's rescue of Mireille is excellent, great fun to watch but probably not very realistic.

Mireille fans will be disappointed by her role in this episode, as it is really a Kirika episode. Those people wondering just what has happened to Chloe will see her return to save Mireille.

With Noir obviously shaken, they begin to formulate a plan to take down the purple haired assassin. Chloe seems bored and goes off alone, to track the assassin herself. Noir end up following Chloe who is following the assassin, who is leading them all in to a trap.

Chloe and the assassin go one on one, and Chloe triumphs. Her parting words to Noir are cryptic but Mireille seems to working out just what is going on.
