Mireille watches in shock as Chloe shoots Kirika at point blank, delivering 'the final guidance'. Kirika starts having images, which are surprisingly familiar scenes from Mireille's bloody past. Amazed that Kirika is perfectly fine, Mireille turns on Chloe demanding answers. When Chloe counters with the true identity of the assassin who killed Mireille's family, she can't believe it. |

Devasted that Mireille did not pull the trigger, Kirika wanders aimlessly unsure where to go, eventually collapsing at the edge of some nameless cliff. Waking up, she finds herself under the care of a strange village, whose occupants all seem to know her identity as Noir. Following a confrontation with agents of the Soldats intent on preventing Kirika from reaching Altena, the villagers finally reveal themselves. Kirika is forced to soon leave to complete her journey as the two sides collide. |

As Kirika crosses the border and finally nears the Manor, the Soldats opposing Altena appeal to Mireille to join them. Unable to violate the sacred land surrounding the Manor, they require Mireille to travel there and become part of Noir to get close enough to kill Altena. To do so, she'll have to go through one of the other two sapplings. Unwilling to help the organization that killed her parents, Mireille attempts to resist. Realizing, however, that she does not really have a choice, and wanting to take revenge against the woman mainly responsible for her family's death, she decides to go, but only for her own reasons. |

Kirika recognises her surroundings and remembers that she has been at the Manor before. Altena's supporters leave Chloe and Kirika to prepare for the final test.
Chloe seems to be enjoying Kirika's company too much, and is shocked to discover that Kirika has been sandboxing her skills thus far. Mireille finally arrives at the Manor to stake her claim on Noir. |

Mireille and Kirika go head to head around the Manor gardens. Chloe joins in the actio to force Kirika to pick a side. Kirika favours Mireille and Chloe finds herself in the battle of her life.
When the news of Chloe's death reaches the followers of Altena, panic sets in, and Altena shows her true plan. |
