Assassin's Game

The third episode of Noir begins with Mireille holding some lillies visiting someone in the cemetry. Soon, she notices a long white-haired lady also standing out in the rain, overlooking a tombstone. The lady is without an umbrella in the soft rain. As the lady turns to go, Mireille watches her. Wondering what grave the lady visited, Mireille went to look at the same tombstone and notices that the same type of flower that she is holding laying across the grave.

The next mission has come in. The new target's name is "Albert Dux," a crooked businessman who reputedly killed a young president of Venier and gained his position. The person who wants to hire Noir is the young president's wife, who by coincidence, is the lady that Mirielle saw in the graveyard.

At the flower shop with Kirika, Mireille buys the same bundle of flower that she carried in the graveyard, "Belladonna lily." Back in the graveyard, we see the young president's wife, standing over the grave again. As she turns to go, she meets face to face with Mireille carrying a bundle of the flower. They begin to talk and we find out that Mirielle was visiting the grave because of a friend.

Mission time and we are at a big mansion on a cliff near the ocean. As Mireille talks in the background, we see Dux talking with his associates. We find out that Dux recently bought a hotel and that he is staying at the stateroom to discuss the renovation before the grand opening. With this, is the chance for noir to smack him silly. We then see the girls running across the walkway towards the mansion in the black cover of night.

Mireille is ambushed and she surrenders her gun. The man turns with his chair with a wine glass in his hand and says, "I didn't expect the famous noir to be such a beautiful lady." We now know that noir had been setup to be taken down. After Mireille surrenders her gun, we see the lady of graveyard walking next to the man in the chair, and now, we definitely know it's a setup. However the lady was surprised at seeing Mireille's face, but quickly recovers.

We now see three men guarding the door, and slowly the doorknob turns. Kirika enters and points her gun at the men. Back in the room where Mireille is being held, we hear gunshots and the men with flashlights point toward the door.

Both the man and the lady gasp their surprise as the three men guarding the doors falls through the open door and more gunshot heard. Kirika had busted Mireille free as they ran down a corridor toward some door.

Immediately, we are in the AV room where men are turning on the monitor with green display (nightvision) and the man watching the bright green screen and yells "Lock down the building" Now we know, it's a trap to kill Noir. However, it seems as if the lady didn't really want the plan to go on due to the fact that she talked with Mireille in the graveyard before.

As noir ran, Mireille shoots at the camera spying at them and ended up on a dark room. Walking around, Mireille declares that it was all a trap, and that Dux and client were all fake. A monitor lights up infront of them where it now says "Target: ... NOIR" Mireille and Kirika discusses about the target, and decides that the target had been them all along, and that they are professional assassins just like them. The hunter and the hunted had just switched place. Kirika further decides that it is their true enemy that initiated this, the ones that erased her memories.

The Casino battle is awesome, seriously you will need to watch it. Suffice to say Noir come out on top, and Mirielle stands over the Presidents wife and tells her that 'people like us' shouldn't visit graves, we should just fall in them.

Back in their appartment Mireille questions that Dux did not know that Noir was female, and that maybe the true enemy is just playing with them. The only option they have is to keep on winning.
