13 - HEL AND HIGH WATER PART 1
Voice is picking up a signal from beneath the ocean, Sarge is reluctant
to check it out as they are trying to stop the Bailey's, however
she is outranked and the team head off to investigate complete with
nice new red and silver uniforms. The team use a modified land driller
and head out following the distress signal, almost immediately they
are attacked by concussion missiles. Sarge takes the controls and
they dive down into the deeper water, they need to lose their attackers,
however the ship is also springing leaks. Eventually they lose their
pursers, and Hel realises the ballis, it fails. They have taken
too much water on board, things are looking bad. Cleo looks out
the window and notices a man swimming around outside, then their
engines begin to work again, and they are guided towards an underwater
city.
They
are greated by Granger, who Cleo recognises as the man she saw floating
outside. After a tense meeting Hel, and Sarge and Cleo are asked
to remove their weapons, reluctantly they concur. Sarge questions
the distress signal, which no one claims any knowledge of. Granger
explains how they have been living underwater for the last 500 years,
he then takes them to their quarters. Hel and Sarge start to argue,
each trying to find blame in the other. Cleo watches and then hears
a voice. However no one else heard it, and Cleopatra believes that
she just imagined it.
Granger
meets up with the girls again, and as they talk Cleo begins to lose
conciousness. She turns around and finds herself back at home talking
to her mother, who insists her to help her. Cleo then wakes up and
relays the information to Sarge and Hel. Sarge heads off insistant
that something is not right, Hel also decides to question Granger.
As Cleo recovers she begins to hear her mothers voice again and
follows the sound of her voice. Meanwhile Sarge finds where their
gauntlets are being stored, and deals out her justice on the guards
and meets up with Hel. Together they follow Cleo into a room, where
Cleo looks up and see's her mother's image.
Her
mothers image is projected on a Bailey. The Bailey sends out a transparent
tendril, and Cleo seems stuck in a trance and Hel and Sarge look
on.
