LIST EPISODE 9 - PERCEPTIONS
There is a security breach, the workers begin to head to there appropriate
stations when a large explosion goes off.
Meanwhile Hel, Sarge and Cleo are finishing off a mission when Hel
is confronted by her father. Her father who has apparently been
dead for many years, just then another explosion goes off near her
father. The blast was so close that no one could have survived..but
a dead man? The team investigate and are led to the room where the
security breach is still active. Hel rescues a lady who recognises
her instantly and asks whether she has seen her father. Sarge replays
the security camera footage, and discovers that the explosion was
deliberate, who ever did this had a reason. Sarge begins to unlock
the door, as in 10 minutes everyone will die.
Hel catches a glimpse of her father and follows him. She tells Voice
where she is going, however her father is really just an illusion
by Creegan. Creegan restrains Hel in a force field and begins to
track Voice's signal. Sarge is still trying to get through the door,
when Hel's father appears at the same time when a rogue plasma bolt
comes out. Without his help Sarge would have died. With time against
her Sarge aims her gauntlet and blasts the door. Cleo takes the
people to safety and Sarge decides to enter the room to stop the
security self destruct mechanism. Hel tells Voice that she is going
to activate the self destruct option on her Voice recepticle, so
that Creegan can not get her location. Instead she channels it carefully
and breaks the restraining field. Creegan holds up a small disc
and throws it towards Hel, it explodes on impact and Hel is set
flying.
Sarge
is at the control panel trying to stop the self destruct mechanism,
eventually she just begins hitting the machine, which has the desired
effect. Hel comes to and is guided out by her father who has only
one thing to tell her "don't look back".
Hel and the team escape, still unsure about what has occured.
