For the Japanese and European versions this game was released under the title of Capcom Fighting Jam. Personally I like this title as I understand the word Jam to be a combination of... anything, in this case Capcom Fighting game characters.

However in America Jam is actually what they call Marmalade or something-or-rather, so I suppose a game called Capcom Fighting Marmalade does sound very silly.

So in America the game is called Capcom Fighting Evolution, which in itself is a joke as this game has nothing at all which can be remotely considered evolution!
